Terms of Service

Service. Paberid (paberid.ee) is a web service for collecting and exchanging documents between an accountant and their client: monthly checklist, requests, comments, reminders, file storage and archiving. The service does not do bookkeeping and gives no accounting or tax advice. Operator: NET Partner OÜ (reg. code 11299597, Narva, Eesti, info@paberid.ee).

Account and roles. Sign-in is by e-mail link (no password). An accounting firm creates a workspace and adds clients; an entrepreneur may create their own company board and invite an accountant. You are responsible for the security of your e-mail. Either side may remove the other's access; documents stay with the company.

Plans and fees. Free: 1 accountant, up to 3 clients, 500 MB. Paid plans (S/M/L and the entrepreneur plan) are billed monthly or yearly in advance via Stripe; prices are on /billing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled (Stripe portal or by e-mail); cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. The service is for businesses (B2B); the consumer right of withdrawal (VÕS §56⁴) does not apply. Time lost due to a technical fault on our side is compensated.

Retention. The current year and the previous year (until 30 June) are online. The previous year is then packed into a ZIP archive (files, manifest with SHA-256 hashes, audit log). Free: archive downloadable for 60 days, then deleted. Paid: archives kept up to 7 years while the subscription is active; after it ends, 90 days (360 days after 12+ paid months), then deleted. An inactive free account (12 months) is deleted after a 30-day warning. The 7-year retention duty under the Estonian Accounting Act §12 remains with the accountable entity; the service is an aid — download your archives.

Your obligations. No illegal content or malware; no use for attacks or spam. We may restrict access on violation.

Liability. The service is provided "as is". We work for availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Liability is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months. We are not responsible for document content, bookkeeping correctness or deadlines.

Changes. We announce changes by e-mail at least 14 days ahead. Estonian law applies. Updated 07.09.2026.
